NIGHTWISH Singer To Tie The Knot
May 9, 2003NIGHTWISH frontwoman Tarja Turunen has announced plans to marry her longtime fiancé in Finland this summer. According to the group's official web site, Tarja's relationship to a man from 'overseas' [reportedly Argentina — ed.] got sealed in the end of 2002," and the two will finally make their union official. In other news, Turunen has also announced plans to move back to Finland this summer after an extended stay in Germany where she has been studying to become a classical singer.
As previously reported, NIGHTWISH will enter the studio on October 27 to begin recording the follow-up to last year's "Century Child". The band will once again use their own studio in Kitee to record the drums, bass and keyboards/synths, while the vocals and guitars will be recorded at Helsinki's Finnvox facility.
NIGHTWISH hope to complete the recordings by the end of March 2004 and issue the as-yet-untitled effort in early June 2004.
